Take Advantage of the Gift
Jesus did not leave us to live all by ourselves. He gave us the Holy Spirit to help us live for God. And One special gift of the Holy Spirit is praying in tongues.
When you pray in tongues, you build yourself up on the inside. Think about building muscles. You don’t lift a weight just once and become strong. You keep exercising. In the same way, praying in the Spirit regularly helps you grow stronger spiritually.
Sometimes, you may not know what to pray. The Holy Spirit helps you pray beyond what you understand and according to God’s will.
Paul prayed in tongues often. He knew it was a wonderful gift!
So don’t forget to use this gift. Make praying in the Spirit part of your everyday life.
