October 12
And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 4:3-4 (KJV)
Don’t Fall for His Tricks
When the devil tempted Jesus, he tried to make Him doubt who He was. But Jesus did not fall for his trick. He answered him with God’s Word.
The devil will try to trick you too. He will try to make you look at your problems, mistakes, or what you do not have so you would feel afraid or unloved.
But remember, you belong to God! You are in Christ; you have His righteousness and His Spirit. You are loved! You are chosen and special!
So, do not let any wrong thought or experience make you forget what God has said about you. Keep your eyes on Jesus and His Word in your mouth.
Read Your Bible.

Speak the Word!
“I will not fall for the devil’s tricks. I choose to believe God’s Word!“
