You prepare a table before me, even in the presence of my enemies.
Psalm 23:5 (ISV)

Shift Your Focus

Sometimes, when God tells you to do something, you may start thinking about what will happen next.
You may wonder, “Why did this happen if God told me to do it?”
But God does not ask you to figure out the whole process. He just wants you to trust Him and follow His instruction.
David said God prepared a table for him in the presence of his enemies. The enemies were still there, but David could still enjoy what God had prepared.
So, when things do not happen the way you expected, don’t let that outcome make you doubt God. Shift your focus from the outcome to God’s instruction.
Trust Him enough to obey, even when you cannot see what comes next.
