Knowing Jesus is Better
Some people followed Jesus because He gave them food and performed miracles. They were excited about what He could give them.
But Jesus wanted them to know that He is the greatest gift.
Think about a friend who only comes around when they want something. That is not a friendship that you would enjoy.
God wants you to know Him, love Him, and enjoy being with Him not only because you want things.
Food, toys, money, and other things do not last forever. But your relationship with God does.
So enjoy the good things God gives you, but always remember that knowing Jesus is better than any gift.
