So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.
James 4:7 (AMPC)
Don’t Listen to the Lie
The devil wants to get your attention away from God’s Word and make you listen to his lies.
That is what happened in the Garden of Eden. God had clearly told Adam and Eve what to do, but the devil made Eve question God’s Word by asking, “Did God really say?”
The devil even tried this with Jesus. He questioned whether Jesus was really the Son of God, even though God had already said, “This is my beloved Son.”
When you are going through a difficult time, you may be tempted to believe wrong thoughts.
But when you fill your mind with God’s Word, you will recognize what is true
and stand firmly against the devil’s lies.
Read Your Bible.

Speak the Word!
“I listen to God’s Word, reject the devil’s lies, and stand firm in the truth”
