When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
1 Corinthians 13:1

Do Not Return
A child in sixth grade understands more than a child in first grade. The sixth grader has kept learning and has not stayed with only first-grade understanding.
It is the same with God’s Word. As you read, listen, and think about it, your understanding should keep growing.
God’s Word helps you remove old, wrong ideas and replace them with the right ones. You may once have prayed, “God, please come near me.” But as you grow, you come to understand that he lives in you and say, “Christ lives in me.”
So keep allowing God’s Word to correct your thinking. Do not return to understanding you have already outgrown.
Read Your Bible.
2 Corinthians 3:18. James 1:23-25. 1 John 4:16-18

Speak the Word!
“God’s Word is working in me and making me grow in my understanding!”
