Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.
Colossians 2:8 (NLT)
It Is Easy
Jesus did not come to make knowing God difficult. He came to show us God’s love in a simple way.
He did not tell people that they had to follow many difficult rules before God would accept them.
When people asked Jesus what they needed to do, He said, “Believe in the one he has sent.” John 6:29 (NLT)
That means salvation is not something you work hard to earn. It is a gift from God that you receive by believing in Jesus.
You do not have to be the smartest, strongest, or best person. God’s gift is for everyone.
It really is that simple: believe in Jesus and receive the life He gives.
