October 21
As Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He noticed two brothers … And He said to them, “Follow Me [as My disciples, accepting Me as your Master and Teacher and walking the same path of life that I walk], and I will make you fishers of men.”
Matthew 4:18-19 (AMP)
Let Jesus Make You
When Jesus called His disciples, they were not perfect or ready for the work He wanted them to do. But they simply chose to follow Him.
Jesus does not expect you to know everything or do everything perfectly after you have come to Him. He wants you to follow Him and let Him teach you.
God knows you better than anyone because He made you. He knows what He has planned for you to be, and He knows how to help you grow into it.
You do not need to try to make yourself perfect. Instead, meditate on His Word, and follow His leading. As you do, you will become more like Him.
So, don’t be afraid of making mistakes. Keep following Jesus by meditating on His Word and let Him work in you.
Read Your Bible.

Speak the Word!
“I choose to follow Jesus so He can make me who He has planned for me to be.”
